The Regional Chapters of AMSE are the backbone of its global community. Each country will host Region wise Chapters representing the society’s mission, vision, and values within that region. These chapters bridge the gap between AMSE’s global initiatives and local engineering communities, ensuring active participation and growth at every level.

Regional Chapters are empowered to organize conferences, symposiums, seminars, workshops, and outreach programs under the technical guidance and support of AMSE. Events hosted within a specific country or region will operate in association with the respective AMSE Regional Chapter, ensuring quality, recognition, and global visibility.

How to Establish a Regional Chapter

Becoming a part of AMSE’s global network is an opportunity to represent your region in a community of innovation and engineering excellence.

To establish an AMSE Regional Chapter, the following criteria must be met:

  • The proposed chapter must represent a specific region in a country.
  • The application should be initiated by a group of senior professionals, academicians, or institutional representatives active in engineering or technology.
  • At least one recognized institution or organization should endorse the proposal as a local partner.
  • The chapter must commit to upholding the vision, mission, and ethical values of AMSE in all its activities.

  1. Submit a Proposal Interested groups or institutions should submit a formal proposal to AMSE, including details of the chapter’s leadership team, proposed objectives, and initial plans for activities.
  2. Review and Approval The AMSE Executive Committee will review the proposal for alignment with organizational goals and approve the formation of the Regional Chapter.
  3. Official Affiliation Once approved, the chapter will receive an official certificate of recognition as an AMSE Regional Chapter and be listed on the AMSE global network portal.
  4. Formation of Chapter Committee The chapter will appoint key office bearers (Chairperson, Secretary, and Coordinators) to manage its operations in coordination with AMSE headquarters.
  5. Launch and Activities The chapter may organize its inaugural event or meeting under AMSE’s technical support to initiate engagement within the local engineering community.

  • Conduct at least two AMSE-supported events annually (seminars, workshops, or conferences).
  • Promote membership growth and professional participation within their region.
  • Share annual reports and activity summaries with AMSE headquarters.
  • Support AMSE’s global initiatives, publications, and collaborative projects.
